About us - TeachersPrincipal: Miss Sarah-Louise AshworthSarah-Louise Ashworth started dancing at the age of 3 at the Kirkham School of dancing. At sixteen she went on to train at Laine Theatre Arts on the dance and musical theatre course where she gained her ISTD Ballet Associate teaching certificate in which she received Honours. She is also a qualified dance teacher of the IDTA and a mutually recognised teacher of the RAD.Sarah-Louise has worked extensively as both a dancer & singer in both theatre and television. Highlights of her career include performing at the Queen Mother's 100th Birthday Celebrations - London and cruising the world as dance captain on the world famous QE2. |
Dance Teacher: Miss Kirsty Ashworth
Kirsty Ashworth started her training at the Kirkham School of Dancing at the age of 2 years, taking part in numerous professional pantomimes & Shows. At sixteen she went to work professional on the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines cruising around the world. In addition to this Kirsty has worked extensively in both theatre and television on a large number of projects.During her time at sea she worked for Fred Olsen, Page & Moy, Costa Cruise line to name but a few. Since returning to Yorkshire in 2007 Kirsty has gained her IDTA Ballet Associate teaching certificate in which she received Honours.
